Window candle count

Quick count of window candles from the number of windows and candles per window (plus optional spares).

Formula candles = windows × candles_per_window · order = ceil(candles × (1 + spare_%))

Use 1 for a classic single candle; 2–3 for wider sills.

Does not change math — helps you inventory by floor.

FAQ

How many candles per window?

Most Colonial-style displays use one centered candle; wide picture windows may look better with two or three.

Battery or plug-in?

Count is the same. Plug-in sets still need outlet and cord planning.

Should I buy spares?

Yes — bulbs and bases fail; a small spare percentage avoids dark windows mid-season.

Only front windows?

Count only the windows you will dress, not every opening on the house.
